What’s changed for you in the last year because of the pandemic?

The World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic
on March 11, 2020

Somehow it feels like more than a year and less than a year. Amirite?

What’s better and what’s worse in your life?

So many people have lost work and more than 500,000 Americans have died of COVID-19. Even those of us who are healthy and employed have seen changes in everything from travel to school to our social lives.

I’m leading a workshop, hosted by the University of Michigan Alumni Club of NYC, to reflect on:

  • What’s changed for the worse for you?
  • What’s changed for the better for you?
  • And maybe most importantly: How do you want to live your life as we move toward reopening?

We’re seeing light at the end of the tunnel: Vaccinations are expanding, cases and hospitalizations have been declining, restaurants and movie theaters are reopening here in New York.

It feels possible to imagine a life where we aren’t all staring at our screens all the time.

Instead of trying to reassemble life as it was, how can you use your experience to shape a better version of it?

Have you made changes you don’t want to give up?
Have you learned about what really matters to you?
Is there something you took for granted that you will appreciate when it returns?

You have two chances to join my one-hour webinar marking the anniversary of pandemic:

Registration will not ask you if you’re a University of Michigan alum. But if you are: Go Blue!
