Coming attractions on Newvine Growing

After a month of daily gratitude posts, it’s taking me a bit to regain my rhythm of regular content — but I do have some good stuff in the hopper:

  1. I sat down with Larry Kirshbaum, formerly CEO of Time-Warner Book Group and now head of LJK Literary, and he shared the unvarnished truth about moving from a corporate gig to entrepreneurship and the challenges of doing business in publishing today. Expect that post to include great insights from Larry’s decades of experience, honesty about the challenges he’s faced and hefty doses of humor and optimism.
  2. Another interview waiting to make it from my notebook to a post is Ari Weinzweig, co-founder of Zingerman’s Deli in Ann Arbor. I want to finish his book, “A Lapsed Anarchist’s Approach to Building a Great Business,” before I write about our conversation — but it’s a compelling read so that shouldn’t take long.
  3. Finally, Sarah Nicoli, one of the co-founders of dotmine day planners, has been trying to connect with me for an interview for literally months. The irony is not lost on me of having so much trouble getting my availability to sync with someone who runs a company that sells calendars to help busy women organize their lives. But we aren’t giving up yet and I hope to have that one together in time to get you thinking about your 2011 calendar.
I'm Colleen Newvine, and I would love to help you navigate your evolution or revolution
Let’s work together
